James Brown: Say it Loud will be the latest television event to showcase the soul legend's life within and outside of music. The show is expected to air on A&E around the timeframe of James Brown's birthday month in May 2023. James Brown would've been 90 years-old in 2023. Some Pennsylvanians were able to feel the warmth of a 60° day. It would only be right if we people got outside and enjoyed the weather. In Collingdale, Pennsylvania, this  warm winter day could've turned into disaster for three kids and their families. On Monday afternoon, three kids were playing around on an icy pond in Collingdale Park. As the temperatures rose while they were playing upon the pond, these three children fell through the ice and into the water. Kevin Pritchett Greene began his BMX career at the age of 12 when he started volunteering at the Philly Pumptrack , back in 2014. At the track he would build ramps and shovel dirt, this was all before hopping on the bike. His racing days didn't begin until he was a regular at the pumptrack. Light beginnings and observations found Kevin being enamored by the sport. Before he started officially competing in races, Kevin is also talented in landscaping. Orion Jean is the "ambassador for kindness" in Time Magazine's 2nd annual Kid of the Year award. Orion Jean is an eleven year old, sixth grader from Mansfield, Texas. In 2020, Orion entered the National Kindness Speech Contest. He won $500 for his moving speech while in the mist of a troubling time for the the world. Orion Jean - Kindness Can Change a Nation What Orion did with his winning funds further changed the trajectory of his life and so many others. He took that money and began the community service campaign, Race for Kindness . The Murder Trial of Jam Master Jay Has a Court Date (Published)

Two suspects involved are facing 20 years to life in prison. Jam Master Jay was murdered on the night of October 30, 2002. The producer and DJ spent 19 years with the Hip-Hop pioneering Run-DMC before his death. A 10-count indictment against two suspects was announced on August 17, 2020. The Eastern District of New York is charging Ronald Washington (56) and Karl Jordan Jr. (36) for the murder of Jason Mizell aka Jam Master Jay. Karl Jordan Jr., who was 16 at the time, is being tried as an adult. He is also being charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, and seven counts of cocaine distribution. Lionsgate has officially picked up the worldwide rights to the film. The Michael Jackson biopic titled, Michael , is set to move on right away with a full scale production. Michael has been in the works since 2019. Graham King and his production company GK Films began the spearheading of the project back then. After coming off the production of 2018's Queen musical biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, Graham King got in talks with the Michael Jackson estate. Mississippi Blues Brothers Syl and Jimmy Johnson Have Died: Lives in Music (Published)

Jimmy died on January 31, 2022 and Syl died on February 6, 2022. Jimmy died at the age of 93, whilst Syl died at the age of 89. The Johnson family made a statement regard each brother's passing. "Our Dad (Syl Johnson) has gone on to heaven to be with him and many of his loved ones and fellow musicians who have passed as well. The world has lost two musical giants," the family continued, "They came up the hard way, and they blazed a trail with hits and [became] major forces in music." The organization has announced that they will be starting the first All Girls Flag Football League for high school students all over Pennsylvania. The Eagles have been in contact with Philadelphia Public League , the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools and Leveling the Playing Field to make this possible. The inaugural season of the league will consist of 15 high schools. They all will be competing for something more than championship rings and playing time on Lincoln Financial Field.
