Lydia Peterson, who is a Delaware County and Temple University graduate, is at the helm of the project.
Lydia Peterson's life is reflected within the film. Lydia, or "Lid", was a walk-on for the Temple University Owls, but Lydia wasn't only trying to ball in college.
While at school, she studied media,
filmography and photography. Since graduating college she created her own
production company, Lid Productions,
and used her skills to build the brand. Lid Productions has worked with
profit/non-profit organizations, startups, profession sports teams, etc...
CBS 3's Wakisha Bailey got into contact with Peterson to talk about the film.
The movie also stars newcomers like Jasmine Nwajei, Antonio Vizcarrondo and Shalom Obiago.
Nwajei is a model and former guard for the Syracuse Orange women's basketball team.
Vizcarrondo recently booked roles for VH1's The Breaks and STARZ's Power. He is also a singer-songwriter and producer.
Obiago, the youngest of the cast, is starring in his 4th role ever after wrapping up filming for another Philadelphia based film, The Impact Factor.
